My tiny double coil is 32g over 28g over 26g.
Im making very slow progress on a custom piece that I broke the stone. I did some electroforming to hold the stone together is a unique way. Its my way of saying "I messed up, let me make this cooler for you"
Its probably the smallest double coil I've because I used a 26g core instead of 24. But other than that, I use this size double coil pretty regularly now.
So in this practice, going smaller forces you to see everything on a smaller scale. When you go back to bigger wires you'll notice more details, you'll notice big difference in wire tension needs, and for me, coming back to bigger wires became much easier.
But its a practice. Do this often. Do this with intention, and pay attention to what you can see. Use a magnifying stand if needed
