DaVinci Resolve vs. CapCut: Which One Do You Use? 🎬

DaVinci Resolve has a steeper learning curve than CapCut—but it’s free, powerful, and gives you plenty of room to grow. That’s why I use it and recommend it throughout the Academy, especially if you have a desktop computer.

For my AI videos, I’m usually combining multiple clips, matching colors between generations, adjusting speed, layering audio, and exporting at the highest quality possible. DaVinci gives me the control I need without requiring a subscription for the core workflow.

That said, CapCut is easier to learn and great for quick edits, especially on mobile. The best editor is ultimately the one that helps you finish your videos and publish consistently.
