Jesus told His disciples that something was coming.
Not a new assignment.Not a new destination.Not even a new lesson.
He told them to wait.
Acts 1:5 comes in that space between the promise and its fulfillment. The disciples didn’t fully understand what was about to happen, but God was already preparing them for it.
I don’t know about you, but waiting is often the hardest part for me. I like plans, checklists, and knowing what’s next. Yet so much of the Christian life is learning to trust God while we’re still standing in the “not yet.”
As you reflect on today’s verse, consider:
✨ How might God be preparing you right now for something you cannot yet see?✨ What gifts, experiences, or lessons has He already placed in your life?✨ Where is He asking you to trust Him while you wait?
