working with interior designers
I have a question about working with interior designers. When a designer brings me a project or refers a client, is it standard practice to offer a commission or referral fee from the contractor’s side? If so, how is this usually structured (percentage of labor vs. total project cost)?
What percentage is typically offered in this type of relationship? I’m trying to understand the correct and professional way to quantify and structure this so it’s fair for both sides and sustainable long term.
