Happy Saturday
Today hit different.
It’s a Saturday.
Most people are taking a break.
I’m doing double-time at the desk before heading into a full shift at the restaurant.
Not because I have to.
Because I’m building something I want to last.
A week from today, I’ll be 25.
And honestly? I’m blessed.
Not because everything is perfect…
But because I’m not spiraling into the “quarter-life crisis” everyone warns you about.
If anything, I’m realizing something more powerful:
I’m not where I expected to be —
but maybe I’m exactly where I need to be.
This phase — the grind, the uncertainty, the rebuilding —
is teaching me things success never could.
I’m learning that expectations were what trapped me.
Faith is what frees me.
And just like the situation I’m navigating behind the scenes right now —
the micro moments of courage, the willingness to keep moving,
the willingness to start fresh without fear —
they’re shaping me into someone stronger, clearer, and more aligned.
So as I step into 25:
Zero expectations.
Unshakeable faith.
And a commitment to keep doing the internal work
so the external results take care of themselves.
What that creates in my life is up to me.
Keeping my peace through it all is the real win.
Next week’s blog is going to expand on this
