Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about why the last few years of my life finally started to move in the direction I wanted not just professionally, but mentally and emotionally too.
The honest answer is much simpler than I expected.
Early in life we learn to grow up to with structure and those around us that have done it before
Our identity is shaped because of it
Then we're given the freedom (18-25 years in) to decide how this identity evolves, except this time without a reference point.
What I realized is we grow up spending most of the time getting to know others, and little time getting to know ourselves
I started to realize most of those I admired had a long period of loneness in life that consistently contribute to their success.
You aren't lost, you're aren't disliked, you're not an outsider
You're focused on what you want,
You want direction to freedom and fulfillment
Those around you, want you to be the best version of yourself
Sometimes it takes boundaries to do that and most importantly it takes a PLAN
Here’s the exact framework I came up with
"Preparing To Execute"
Every morning, I open my Notes app and write:
1. The day of the week
2. My non-negotiable mental health habits
These come before work
- Movement
- Time outside / sunlight
- Stillness (walks, journaling, or quiet)
3. The meetings already on my calendar
- No fantasy schedules. Just reality.
4. 3–4 high-leverage actions that would serve as evidence of a productive day
- Not busy work.
- Not “catching up.”
These 4 steps allowed me to rebuild trust with myself. It reduced the anxiety many of us have around “where things were going and it makes long-term goals feel inevitable instead of overwhelming.
This is the same framework I now use when helping people:
- Rethink their career direction
- Build leverage for new clients
- Prepare for a role change or business shift
- Or simply get unstuck after feeling scattered for too long
If you’re:
- Exploring a new role
- Looking for better clients
- Hiring or building a team
- Or trying to make 2026 intentional instead of reactive
I’m opening a few no-pressure alignment calls to talk through goals, direction, and next steps.
If that feels useful, reply here or book time and let’s talk.
