As we discussed on the call today (so awesome to meet many of you today in person!), SEO is so much more than just a method to generate traffic. It is a tool to deeply connect with your potential and current clients, it’s a way to use their language and learn where they are entering into your sphere from.
The services you offer are often the things they NEED, but don’t realize it, which means that if you address the needs underneath their angst, you might just miss them. Sometimes as business owners, we need to step back and think like a beginner or someone who is floundering and randomly typing their desires or issues into google. Their “keywords” may not even make sense at first because they are so overcome with their emotions or mental confusion.
The key to all of this is learning to lay the pathway for them. To walk them through from where they are to what you can do for them - even if it means they don’t realize the needs until they are already working with you.
This is why SEO is so powerful. It does the research and lays the foundation (if done correctly) to meet your clients where they are. And then helps you walk them down the path towards transformation or accomplishment of their goals by engaging in your services.
