This week, we are going to take one of our previous coloring pages and turn it into a Freebie Friday offer.
The goal is simple:
We want to use a free coloring page to attract new people, build our email list, and create a pathway to more sales.
A freebie is not “just free content.” It is a marketing tool.
When someone downloads your free coloring page, they are showing interest in your style, your niche, and what you offer.
That means you now have a chance to build a connection with them and introduce them to your paid products later.
Why Freebie Friday Works!
People love free resources, especially when they are cute, helpful, relaxing, or easy to use.
When someone downloads your free coloring page, they are showing interest in what you create.
That means they may also be interested in your full coloring book, bundle, journal, membership, class, or digital product.
Freebie Friday gives people a small sample of your brand before asking them to buy.
You'd be surprise at how many sales you can get on Freebie Friday!
A freebie does not mean Gumroad pays you just because someone downloaded it.
If your coloring page is listed for $0, the person can download it for free and you do not earn money from that download.
But you can still make money from your freebie by setting it up as “pay what you want.”
That means the customer can download it for free, but they also have the option to leave $1, $3, $5, or more if they want to support you.
You can also use your freebie to lead people to a paid offer. At the end of your free coloring page, add a simple promo page that says:
“Love this freebie? Grab the full coloring book or bundle here.”
Freebie Friday is not just about giving something away...it's about building trust, growing your email list, and creating a path to your paid products.
