Vibe Coding Madness this Thursday: bring your video idea and help us turn it into motion, live. 🎬
We have explored the possibilities. Now let's actually design something together.
This week, Umer leads a hands-on video and motion-design lab using Opus 5.5. Instead of another walkthrough of someone else's polished demo, we will work through selected projects from the community and make creative decisions in real time.
Bring an intro, a product explainer, a launch clip, an animated diagram or a half-finished idea you cannot quite get right.
Together, we will:
• Find the story: who is watching, and what should they understand or feel?
• Shape a simple visual sequence before adding effects.
• Work through the design with Claude and the demonstrated motion workflow.
• Review what works, what feels generic and what needs another pass.
• Change a requirement and show how we revise the design.
The point is not more AI slop. It is seeing the choices that make a piece clearer, more intentional and more interesting to watch.
Come with a short brief, one reference and any assets you have permission to share. No finished demo required. We will choose projects that fit the time available, and everyone can contribute feedback even if their project is not selected.
Expect work in progress, honest iteration and practical next steps, not a promise that every attendee leaves with a finished video. Keep private client information out of shared materials.
With Jonathan Foltz, Umer Hadeed, Matt Lally and Zain Razzaq.
