Hello everyone. I am a 3D printer guy that got a Shapeoko 5 Pro 4x4 about a year and a half ago. I have recently moved over to Vectric's VCarve Pro and I am really enjoying all of the things it allows me to do. It is a fun transition. It has inspired me to start my YouTube channel. I want to start with some instructional videos and see how it goes from there.
As far as my journey in wood working goes, I have always loved to build and create things. In the 3D printing world, I could make practical items to fix things around the house, but I am not good at modeling organic sculptures and had to rely on others for things like Yoda and Baby Groot. However, you can't sell those. With the CNC, I can go from an idea to a product relatively quickly. It is so rewarding.
I have been selling my cutting and charcuterie boards, whiskey trays and smokers, and a few other drink or kitchen items as long as I have had my CNC. I have even done some bigger furniture items.
I love to show people how I did things and what I have learned as part of my journey, so that is why I am here. Let's share where we can and get inspiration from each other to launch ourselves forward.
