(Literal) warm up
It's getting cool again, but not nearly cool enough to turn on the heat (indoors, the house is down to 19c, having rarely been below 24c since May). Despite warming up musically, I find my hands ache slightly after only 90 min of playing today. That hasn't been an issue all summer.
What do you all do to literally warm up your hands? I've run mine under warm water in the past, but then I need to wait for my fingertips to dry completely. I don't want to wear gloves all day. Sit on them? Tuck them into my armpits? Put them under my shirt for 5 min? All suggestions appreciated.
