The Circle is a friendly and very active community where you can learn a way of composing that steps outside of traditional composing theory

When I first joined MITA and The Circle of Interval Magicians, I would considered myself a novice musician/songwriter at best. But, here I am now fourteen months later, proudly saying I am a composer of music with confidence. The course teaches you so much, but it comes to life in the weekly Circles meetings we have. To learn from the other members, and see and hear their ideas has helped me with my journey, as I apply their ideas to mine. I used to loathe Mondays, now I look forward to them.

The Circle is a great place. What I can say after just one month is that every question gets answered. Really, every question. And I often ask some pretty strange questions. The approach to composing with intervals is super interesting and opens doors I never thought possible. I feel pretty at home here.

I’m really happy to have joined this group, which has helped me develop the musical understanding I’ve built up over the years and shown me that making music doesn’t have to be a painful process. On top of that, we have a wonderful mentor and great classmates who constantly motivate and inspire us.

There’s a great sense of community in this group, and you’ll have access to loads of great resources that will get your compositional brain firing!
