Brazil Approves First Spot XRP ETF
The Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission has approved the world’s first spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) tracking XRP, managed by Hashdex. This approval is expected to enhance institutional adoption of XRP.
Additionally, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has acknowledged applications for XRP ETFs from multiple firms, including CoinShares, Canary Capital, and WisdomTree. While acknowledgment initiates the review process, it does not guarantee approval.
President Donald Trump shared an article highlighting Ripple’s expanding U.S. operations, increased institutional interest, and growing partnerships in the financial sector. This endorsement has generated positive sentiment within the XRP community.
Frankenmuth Credit Union has expanded its cryptocurrency offerings to include XRP, allowing members to buy, sell, and manage XRP through its online banking platform. This move reflects growing acceptance of XRP.
