This morning I did something past-Chris would have laughed at:
I ran my entire monthly finance workflow through my ChatGPT clone ā and it worked.
For years, the first of the month has been this mental marathon. QuickBooks, Stripe, Wells Fargo, taxes, P&L checks, cross-referencing numbers⦠itās not hard, itās just weighty. The kind of work that eats up creative bandwidth.
So I finally taught my clone how I do finances:
- the exact order I open tabs
- the way I click through QuickBooks
- what I double-check
- what I usually forget
- what matters most for tax planning
- what ties back into Monument Glamping growth
It all lives in the clone now.And it remembers. And it doesnāt get tired. And it doesnāt skip steps.
Now I simply say: āRun my finance workflow.ā
And suddenly it feels like I hired a seasoned financial assistant who already understands my businesses, my habits, my goals, and my tolerance for chaos.
The surprising part? Itās not the automation ā itās the clarity. Itās the way my thinking stays sharper because the clone keeps the process tight, consistent, and free of the little errors that creep in when life gets busy.
This is what Iām leaning into more and more: not AI replacing me, but AI helping me think straighter⦠so I can put my energy into the work that actually grows things.
Iām just sharing what Iām doing. If it sparks something for you, even better.
