Responsible Consumption and Production SDGs 12
Zero Waste have direct and indirect financial implications, for companies and individuals; I think is one of the Sustainable goals, which most strongly demonstrates that sustainability means efficiency. And being a Sustainability goal, it shows that Sustainability influences profit, and represents a cashflow optimization strategy. For companies, it strengthens margins, resilience, and market relevance.
For families, it improves cashflow, reduces financial stress, and supports long-term stability.
Because waste, represents paid-for value that is never fully used.
It represents intentional purchasing, structural savings, energy and water efficiency, reducing food lost, material waste; recycling, upcycling; in business, Zero Waste induces new value creation and enhances creativity and innovation.
Have you thought about adopting or have you already adopted zero waste mindset in family and/or business? And which of the options mentioned above would be a priority?
