MY WEAKNESS IS MY SUPERPOWER ! ! !
"But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect IN WEAKNESS (emphasis mine) . . . Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly OF MY WEAKNESS, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me" (2 Corinthians; 12:9) . . .
Last night, after attending my son Max Alexander's youth travel hockey club practice, I went to bed in tears because I was lamenting that MY WEAKNESS would bar me from becoming my authentic self and sourcing $100,000,000 by December 31, 2025 in support of the development of a first-of-its-kind National Hall of Champions and Learning Center on Childhood Cancer . . .
Imagine my surprise when I wake up to this message today and discovered that, in God's eyes, MY WEAKNESS IS MY SUPERPOWER!!!
And, hard as you may find this to believe, the story does not end there!!
After I receive this blessing, I receive an email from Dr. Benjamin Hardy sharing his very own BLACK FLAG moment with one of his business' major donors!!
In auto racing, a black flag symbolizes that YOU, THE DRIVER OF THE RACE CAR, have become your very worst obstacle in terms of winning the race!!
It turns out that one of Dr. Hardy's major donors was rather blunt in his feedback that, unless he immediately course corrected his own destructive behavior, said investor would have no recourse but to withdraw his financial support for Dr. Hardy's business!! Needless to say, Dr. Hardy took this message to heart and took appropriate action to align his behavior with the mission at hand.
In the context of achieving my very own impossible dream, many friends and colleagues have all communicated a similar message to me and, up until the verse I shared with you earlier came into my life, I was too blind to understand that my shitty attitude and my incessant fear of failure had become my campaign's very own biggest impediments!!!
Now, thanks to God's incredible mercy and glory, that sentiment gets to shift completely!!!
Today has, literally, felt like the dawn of a new life for me, as I now get to celebrate and boast about MY WEAKNESS as the very reason why God chose me to lead this project!!!
Man, Oh Man!!! Talk about an 800 lbs. Gorilla being lifted off my shoulders!!!
