Just a poll regarding which option has a better chance for a student or a professional to increase his/her industry connections when attending international conferences sponsored by some of the big giants of the industry.
Attending as a student/professional w/o paper presentation
Attending as a student/professional w/ paper presentation
Does not matter and one should just have good communication skills
