🧬 Evolution of the Cat Coat (Leaderboard Levels)
- Tabby – the original blueprint: every cat starts here.
- Mackerel Tabby – the earliest visible pattern, thin vertical stripes for camouflage.
- Spotted Tabby – stripes break apart into spots (cheetah-like evolution).
- Classic Tabby – swirls and marbling emerge, a genetic twist on the tabby base.
- Ticked Tabby – banded hairs evolve, erasing most stripes (Abyssinian style).
- Pointed – temperature-sensitive mutation (Siamese), a new type of mask over tabby.
- Solid Mask – recessive mutation hides the tabby completely, uniform color.
- Albino / Dominant White – evolution erases pigment itself, the rarest masks.
and…
- Melanistic – pigment maxed out (shadow panther energy 🐆🐈⬛)
