📋 PEER REVIEW DO’S & DON’TS
A safe, ethical, Spirit‑led space for growth
Peer Review is where we sharpen our skills through reflection, discussion, and shared wisdom.
To protect the integrity of this space — and the people we serve — please follow these guidelines.
✅ DO’S
1. Do protect confidentiality
Remove names, locations, identifying details, or anything that could reveal someone’s identity.
2. Do bring scenarios, not stories
Share the situation, the challenge, and the question — not the person’s entire life history.
3. Do ask for clarity, not answers
Use language like:
• “How would you approach this?”
• “What boundaries would you consider?”
• “What questions might you ask?”
4. Do stay in the C.A.S.E.™ lane
Focus on:
• Presence
• Boundaries
• Communication
• Ethical clarity
• Spiritual grounding
5. Do reflect before responding
Offer insight that is:
• Gentle
• Ethical
• Non‑clinical
• Spirit‑led
• Respectful
6. Do share your thought process
Explain why you would take a certain approach — this helps everyone learn.
7. Do honor your limits
If a scenario feels heavy or triggering, step back.
Your peace matters.
❌ DON’TS
1. Don’t diagnose, label, or interpret symptoms
We do not use clinical language or make clinical assumptions.
2. Don’t give directives
Avoid statements like:
• “Tell them to…”
• “You should…”
• “They need to…”
We guide through questions, not commands.
3. Don’t offer therapy‑level interventions
No treatment plans, no trauma processing, no therapeutic techniques.
4. Don’t share personal details about someone else
Even if you think it’s harmless — protect their dignity.
5. Don’t shame, judge, or correct harshly
This is a learning space, not a performance space.
6. Don’t assume authority
Peer Review is collaborative, not hierarchical.
7. Don’t post cases that require immediate professional intervention
If a situation involves:
• Safety concerns
• Self‑harm
• Abuse
• Crisis
• Mental health emergencies
It must be referred out — not processed here.
Peer Review is where we grow together — with humility, wisdom, and integrity.
Bring your questions, your discernment, and your curiosity.
We learn best when we learn together.
