Did you know...
When you're writing your resume, you don't need to list every single job you ever had since high school.
I used to see this all the time when I screened resumes and not only were the jobs completely irrelevant to the job they were applying for, but it also dated the candidate.
Recruiters aren't allowed to ask your age, but they can do math, so if you're listing your job from 1987 we can kind of tell your age range. That won't matter to everyone, but why give anyone a reason to pass you over?
Remember, the resume gets you in the door. Don't give employers a reason to close it before they even speak to you.
Tell me what jobs you can keep off your resume from now on.
