Welcome to Car Audio Mastery. Most people think car audio is about "plug and play." We’re here because we know better. This is where we bridge the gap between DIY enthusiasts and Pro-level builders using the same Industrial Design principles I use in the studio.
Right now, this group is in "Live Lab" mode. I’m documenting my own personal vehicle builds in real-time. You aren’t just here to watch videos; you’re here to see the sketches, the CAD prototypes, and the engineering logic that goes into a high-end build before it ever hits the garage.
🚦 The Ground Rules
1. No Sales, No Spam, Just Skill 🚫
This is a sanctuary for learning, not a marketplace. There is zero-tolerance for unsolicited sales, affiliate links, or pitching your own products/services. We are here to master the craft, not to be sold to. If you have a tool or product you genuinely love, share the logic of why it works, not a sales pitch.
2. Respect the Build (Zero Harassment) 🤝
We were all beginners once. Whether someone is asking about a basic fuse or a complex DSP tune, treat every member with respect. "Elitism" has no place in this garage. Constructive criticism is encouraged; disrespect and "gatekeeping" are grounds for immediate removal.
3. Participation > Collection 🧠
This is a Live Lab, not a library. We don't want "file collectors" or lurkers who only show up to download blueprints and leave. To keep the community healthy, you are expected to engage—ask questions, share your progress, and help others. If you’re here to take without giving, this isn't the crew for you.
4. Pay it Forward 🔧
The goal is to go from DIY to Pro. If you find a solution to a problem or learn a new design trick, share it with the group. A community of people helping each other rises faster than an individual working alone. If you see a question you can answer, answer it.
5. The Designer’s Standard 📐
As a community led by an Industrial Designer, we value accuracy and quality. Avoid "hack-job" advice that compromises safety or vehicle integrity. When sharing information, aim for the "Pro" standard—even if you’re working on a DIY budget.
🚀 Your First Mission (Action Required!)
I want to know who is in the garage with me. To unlock your first "win," introduce yourself in the comments below with:
- 1. Your Project: What Year/Make/Model are you currently tearing apart?
- 2. Your "Wall": What’s the #1 thing holding your build back right now? (Tuning? Fabrication? Wiring?)
- 3. The Vision: Are you building a dream daily driver, or are you planning to go Pro?
Drop your intro below! I’ll be jumping in to meet everyone personally.
