Candid Photography Community is a space for people who photograph real life: street, travel, documentary, anything candid.
Most of us are introverts by nature. We photograph alone. We wander, we shoot, we come home with some frames, we put them online, and we get some likes from friends and other photographers.
The problem is that rarely does anyone say what could be improved. Your only indicator is the like: fewer likes is bad, more likes is good. But no one tells you what exactly was good, or what wasn't. It can make photography a lonely journey, full of doubt.
Here you will get real feedback, sometimes with a bit of tough love. Share your frames, join the online Q&As, and you'll start to understand what works and what doesn't in your photographs. That understanding is what makes you a better photographer.
The community is founded by Gil Kreslavsky (15+ years of photography experience, award-winning photographer and educator).
