Today, my body, and mind were LOUD. All types of thoughts of doubt, fear, & condemning thoughts were fired at me. However, after being on this faith journey of surrender since 2017, I now know NOT to give Satan my words. I let all of those negative thoughts fall to the ground without ever letting them come out of my mouth.
Jesus made it very clear that power and authority was given to us (Luke 10:19). We are made in the image of God.... When God creates... HE SPEAKS... refer to all of the "God saids..." in Genesis 1. Ephesians 5:1 calls us to be IMITATORS of God and God does not SPEAK doubt or fear. God speaks with POWER. A power He has given to us through the finished work of Jesus Christ.
Proverbs 18:21 informs us that death and life are in the power of our tongues. Another powerful reminder is Psalm 141:3 (AMP) "Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips [to keep me from speaking thoughtlessly]."
What I've learned on this journey is that you can have thoughts of doubt in your mind and faith in your heart at the same time. The one that is obeyed - through words and actions, is the fruit that will produce.
