Hi everyone, as some of you know, my heart bypass recovery book has been picked up by a publisher (Lotus Books, which focuses on health and wellbeing). It’s been an emotional journey writing and rewriting it, and now we’re at the stage of finalising the title.
At first, I was going to call it Surviving the Widowmaker — it’s dramatic and true to my story. But I realised it might feel too “boxed in,” since it would mainly connect with people who’ve already had a heart attack. I want this book to reach a wider audience — especially people who are waiting for open heart surgery and are feeling worried or concerned about what’s ahead.
Here are the variations I’m considering: Ive added a poll for you to click on...
I’d love to know:
- Which one would you be most likely to pick up if you saw it on a shelf?
- Do any feel too clinical or too dramatic?
- Any subtitles you’d mix and match differently?
Your input will really help shape the final choice — thank you! 🙏
