Good Monday morning, everyone.
Magnanimous Monday
Prayer
Father, thank You for the opportunity to begin a new week. Thank You for the chance to start fresh if that is what we need, or to continue faithfully on the path we are already walking. Wherever each of us finds ourselves this morning, the simple opportunity to move forward is a victory in itself, because we get to go.
Thank You for giving each and every one of us a path and a destination. And thank You for never leaving us, even in the moments when we make it difficult to feel Your presence.
Lord, I know personally that I can make it difficult sometimes. I like to be in control. I like to take the reins and steer the direction myself. But I have been working hard to hand those reins back to You, to trust Your guidance, and to follow where You lead.
Father, thank You for the mentors You have placed in our lives and in this community. Thank You for their wisdom, their patience, and the time they invest to help others grow. I pray for their protection and ask that You continue to guide them as they lead what has become such a large and impactful community.
Lord, we know we can sometimes be a little difficult and a little demanding. Each of us hopes for their time, their attention, and their guidance. But there are only so many hours in a day.
Help us remember that we are not just individuals seeking success. We are a community. A family.
Teach us to lean on one another. Help us support each other and make good use of the resources that have already been provided, because our mentors have walked this path ahead of us and have shared tools, knowledge, and guidance if we are willing to use them.
And Lord, while we may not know what our mentors personally need today, You do. I ask that You provide for them in every way. Strength, peace, wisdom, protection, and renewal.
Watch over them as they continue to lead and serve.
Amen.
Message
Now let’s talk about Monday.
Not the dramatic version where everyone pretends Monday is the villain of the week. Monday is actually the reset button most people keep asking life for.
You get a new week.
A new set of decisions.
A new opportunity to move something forward.
And progress does not require a grand plan. It requires a first step.
Some of you need to start something today.
Some of you need to finish something today.
And a few of you need to stop “organizing your intentions” and actually take action.
Let’s be honest. Many of us can create a beautiful to do list. Color coded. Categorized. Possibly even laminated.
But a laminated to do list still does not complete itself.
Action is the difference between wishing and building.
This community is full of people working toward something meaningful. Businesses, ministries, opportunities, financial freedom, stability for their families, and the chance to serve others in ways that matter.
So today, pick one thing and move it forward.
Send the email.
Make the phone call.
Start the research.
Finish the project.
Ask the question you have been avoiding.
And if you get stuck, remember you are surrounded by people who are walking the same path. Lean on each other. Share knowledge. Encourage someone else.
Because sometimes the breakthrough God is preparing for someone else begins with a small action from you.
And one more truth for Monday.
Everyone looks confident while they are moving forward, but behind the scenes most people are figuring it out one step at a time. Some are simply better at looking calm while they do it.
So give yourself some grace. Stay faithful. Keep moving.
Momentum has a way of showing up the moment we decide to stop waiting and start walking.
