For years I obsessed over my win rate. 60%, 70%, trying to push it higher. It wasnt until later that I realised something: my highest win-rate months weren't my most profitable ones.
I was taking safe, small trades to protect the percentage while avoiding the higher-conviction setups that carried more risk but more reward. I actually was optimising for the wrong metric.
