Morning Bible Chapter: 1 Samuel 1
What I learned: after going through the book of judges it is refreshing to see someone that is faithful to god. Here we see gods character and how up close and personal he is, he grants Hannah’s wish to have a son (David). This is a reminder that god wants a relationship with us and he will give us our hearts desires and sometimes we just have to ask.
Mid-Day Check-In: A year back I had the practice of praying every single day for longer periods of time asking god to guide my actions, praising and praying for things to happen. During that period of time I felt so clear and yesterday I started that practice again after a week of starting this new habit of being in the word everyday and doing these reflections. Today I felt myself leaning to god for a lot more in my day in guiding my actions and it felt great. I hope to continue this and keep growing closer and adding to this foundation we are building.
Daily Prayer: Lord I have done what I can for my search in my job and I pray that you bring me closer to you to lean on your plans to know the best will be done and rid me of any anxiety related to my search. Also continue to guide me in the right steps according to your word.
