Setting the scene (Welcome!)
Congratulations... if you're reading this, you've been accepted into the best online community of professional SEOs. Now you're inside, you're about to see top-of-the-shelf tactics on how to grow traffic organic on search. There's going to be lots of things to read and learn! Be prepared to be overwhelmed.
(Bear in mind, this is a very young group, so if you're new you're likely sitting in a ghost town. But don't worry! Over time, this community will pad-out with lots of SEOs and marketing professionals. Trust the process!)
But, before you jump in, let me go over some of the ground rules so you can get off on the right foot:
1) DO NO SELF-PROMOTE IN A SPAMMY WAY
I'm all for helping others out and getting paid for it if there's value. However, this group is not an online marketplace. Anyone who is seen to be self-promoting in an obvious and/or obnoxious fashion will be kicked and perma-banned without warning.
2) BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL
Don't be a bully or put people down. If someone says something you disagree with, be respectful and engage in friendly discourse. This isn't social media. This isn't reddit. If you are seen to be putting down someone or saying their approach is stupid, you will be kicked from the group. If people don't feel safe talking inside this area, the whole thing falls apart and the loudest and proudest will dominate. This is why we have a zero tolerance policy.
