Hey everyone! As we settle into the program, I wanted to share some thoughts on maintaining momentum when life starts creeping back in.
Key reminders from Atomic Habits:
🎯 Start small if needed - 25 minutes of stretching is optimal, but 5-10 minutes is infinitely better than zero. Don't let perfection be the enemy of progress.
🏠 Optimize your environment - Keep your yoga mat accessible, stretching clothes in an easy-to-reach drawer, water nearby. Remove friction wherever possible.
👥 Find a buddy - Great to see people pairing up already! Accountability partners significantly increase success rates.
❤️ Fall in love with the process - Reframe stretching from a chore to a gift. You're not sacrificing time away from your family - you're doing this for them. For longevity, reduced pain, being more present.
Remember: "I GET to do this" not "I HAVE to do this"
