A post from my group: From Poverty to Dreaming Big
Holding a food stamp, going to eat at the government apartments front office to get these little lunches in a white box people came and passed out, and shopping at Payless was the life!
Or at least I thought. Sometimes I sit on top of these hills over looking campsites or rivers and never in my life imagined I would be there. This past weekend I was floating the Guadalupe River enjoying the cliffs and nature and was just lost. I was thinking about all the people that are in the position I was in growing up and donโ€™t even know these things exist.
As I wrote this on vacation in El Salvador, I can say I am truly blessed, but it DID NOT come easy. I put in the work many times over. Iโ€™ve done 18-20 hour shifts while on salary, Iโ€™ve fell asleep at the wheel, and Iโ€™ve even gone off the road and hit a deer.
My dreams now, are so much bigger than ever before and as I develop the framework for them, I teach others how to develop their foundation. Letโ€™s grind and grow together! Cut all the โ€œall I want is to be comfortable or to pay the bills BSโ€ and reach for the stars, because if you missโ€ฆ.. at least youโ€™ll land on the moon.
(Thatโ€™s my daughter saving a baby cow today)
