Hello everyone,

New here and new to cybersecurity. Came across this group through TikTok and thought I needed this for some guidance as it's the first cybersecurity group I've come across.

I'm studying cybersecurity and Cyber forensics in Oman (near the UAE) and would one day love to move to the US. I'm starting out with some basics learning on my own and looking at the pathways and what certs, projects etc... I need to do here. Hopefully I can get some experience here in the local companies.

Please offer me your guidance and any tips while I'm starting out. Thank you and nice to meet you all.
