šŸ’°Leaking the $7500 program that made me $50,000
Program Name: 6 Figure Consultant
Educator: Bastiaan Slot
Price: $7,500
Term: 1 year
Type: Group Coaching
Support: They had 2-3 coaches covering operations and sales primarily. Main coach was Jaap. I also had access to the COO, Daniel. (No interaction with CEO bastiaan). They checked in on me once a week, and held my accountable. That’s a plus!
Joined: November 2021
Onboarding Experience:
• They immediately had action steps with assignments before and after the call.
• I had to do a 1:1 call once a week and was assigned 2-3 chapters I had to complete before every call.
First Win:
• Part of my assignments was posting on Facebook and Instagram a ā€œsequenceā€ of promotional post about my 1 on 1 coaching offer, which was Airbnb arbitrage.
• I posted promotional story posts everyday for 3 weeks while posting trendy TikTok content on Instagram as well. And scheduled 4 calls a day for 3 consecutive weeks in December. For every 4 call, I closed a deal. That’s a 25-30% closing rate. (Honestly this is BEST case scenario as a beginner. Take it with a grain of salt please lol.)
• By the end of Dec 2022 (in 1 month of starting), I closed 10 deals at $5k/client. And made $50k cash.
Huge Disclaimer: I posted about real estate for 1.5 years before I started coaching. So I had A LOT of people that were interested in learning from me. I had 7k followers on Instagram and 50k on TikTok. And I was a real estate agent, so I spammed everyone on Facebook about my services (which is typical as a beginner sales person.)
Summary
Benefits:
• Accountability. They texted me once a week, gave me due dates and assignments. Most programs don’t offer this.
• The coach, jaap, Katie, and Daniel are VERY nice. They’re not pushy at all. Never gave attitude to me even when my questions may be simple.
• There’s a a decent size of winners in the community
Cons:
• Their modules are recordings of brain dump essays on a document. Not power point format. Can be very messy for some people.
• Lack of diagrams or visuals.
• Lack of analogies (I don’t need this but some needs it if they’re beginners. I’m a full time entrepreneur since 18 so I’m already a fast learner with biz background.)
• There’s tedious or repetitive information across multiple resource documents. Instead of adding more information info documents, they make a new one and mention the same information
• VERY wordy information. Some people will not be able to observe their information
• Lack of philosophy towards business and relationship with money. (This might not matter to some people, especially if you’re a beginner lol.) Their main focus is money, but not impact. There’s little emphasis in, ā€œretentionā€ ā€œcustomer feedbackā€, and ā€œsuccess rateā€. As well as selectivity. So it contributes to the negative stigma in the coaching industry. I believe they somewhat mention this in the higher tier program, but you have to pay $46k to learn that lesson. Why would you gate keep client collaboration philosophies???
Recommendation:
I would recommend this to someone that have the following background
• Have over 3-6 years of business experience
• Copywriting and Content is your strong suit
• Have proof of concept of over 6 figs in success
Other wise. Stick to making skilldhare courses and level up from there. Because coaching / consulting is serious ass work. And yes this program makes you money, but it teaches you nothing about valuing impact.
