Vermont Book Club and Kenya Safari
On April 2nd I did a Spotlight Zoom Interview with Vermont Book Club that I think went rather well for a first time. I have been contacted by them and they have offered to formally award my book their "Reader Favourite Award" and "Best Outstanding Book Award – Travel & Adventure Genre". But they request a fee of $275 for this.
As I am new to actively advertising my book, I ask you is this normal. Will these "awards" help book sales? I guess I am really wondering, is it worth it?
Any advice, or guidance, will be highly appreciated.
