A little late reply but just wanted to let y’all know about lent if you haven’t heard. It’s not in the Bible but it’s definitely Biblical. It’s a perfect opportunity to grow in self control and grow closer to Christ! For those wanting to participate👇🏾
Lent is a 40-day season of fasting, prayer, and repentance leading up to Easter, mirroring Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness. It’s a time to deny the flesh, refocus on God, and grow in holiness.
For us, this is an opportunity to break free from lust and anything that pulls us away from God. Let’s use these 40 days to fast from temptation, fill ourselves with the Word, and build habits that lead to lasting purity. This isn’t just about giving things up—it’s about replacing them with things that bring us closer to Jesus. Ask God what he wants you to let go of for these 40 days; Lets go all in and seek Him first!
