Spotify name issue
Hey everyone, I have one more for you.
The name my bandmate and I settled for is Overtown. There is another guy on Spotify with that name and the blue check mark. He makes techno and has no monthly listeners and it seems like a pretty amateur vibe (no disrespect to him, you go Dmitriy!)
I don’t have anything released yet and barely anything on socials so if changing names is the move I would have to do it now. What do you guys think? Should I power through or change while it’s not a hassle? Isn’t there always going to be someone with the same name?
