So last night I went AMC theater to go watch "Downton Abbey: Grand Finale". Oh my! They did such a wonderful job bringing everything to a close. Everything was in its rightful place and order.
Yes they paid tribute to the wonderful and marvelous Dame Maggie Smith. When they showed her in all her grandness, I cried a lil. And did...lol There's something about saying goodbye to a cast that you grew along with in the charterer arc. What they were to where they became. That's a credit to the team that chooses to wake up everyday to do their very best for the idea as a whole to give to the masses.
I appreciated the journey that is "Downton Abbey". If you have never watched it, now is the perfect opportunity. You can stream every season and watch every movie in order. If you like escapism and want to do it with some refined class and historical touches, take a trip to Downton.
