Always shoot in “Square” mode on your iPhone camera.

A lot of people take super wide photos or 4:3 photos, and when they upload them to Facebook Marketplace, half the couch gets cropped or the image looks funky in search results.

Using Square mode gives you a perfectly framed photo that fits FB’s listing layout and no more chopped edges or wasted space.

✅ Step-by-step:

Open your iPhone camera
Swipe to “Square”
Take your shot head-on, slightly elevated
Make sure the item fills the frame evenly on both sides

It’s a small detail, but clean, centered photos instantly make your listings look more professional and grab more clicks.
