What's so special about John 3:16 ??
John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Could any verse shine brighter?
It’s been called:
“the gospel in a nutshell.”
God – the greatest Lover
ao loved – the greatest degree
the world – the greatest number
that He gave – the greatest act
His only begotten Son – the greatest gift
that whosoever – the greatest invitation
believeth in Him – the greatest simplicity
should not perish – the greatest deliverance
but have everlasting life – the greatest possession
Romans 5:8 – “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Friend, you are not just a number to God.
He knows your name,
your need,
and your soul’s condition
—and He loves you anyway.
