God is so faithful! I have been struggling hurting within and without. God’s word is my comfort and he knows exactly how to get me every time:) I don’t know if this is biblical but I sure do believe God is able to do above and beyond what we could ever ask or think. As I am reading proverb, I am reminded through a still small voice Trust in the Lord, with all thine heart ❤️ I begin to cry because it’s not the same as when God is speaking to me I feel as if God through the power of the Holy Spirit allowed Grandma Petrick to pop in this morning. To encourage me! This would not be the first time this has happened either,
Great is thy faithfulness and Roman’s chapter 10 came across me at work as I sat next to a dying woman who dedicated her whole entire life ever since she was 15 years old to being a nun in the Catholic Church. As she lay next to me in a coma like state, all I could think of was how disappointing it would be to give your whole entire life to this religion to die and end up in a burning hell, and as I sat there, I prayed Lord would you help me talk to her. Romans 10 so I began to read the Bible. I had my small New Testament with me Praise the Lord. As I read the Bible to her, I explained to her the scriptures. I could sense that she was getting upset with me. I asked her “please don’t get upset with me”. I’m trying to help you, but it’s ultimately your decision. “she calmed down”. I continued on reading and then I asked her a question. I said I know you can’t answer me, but I know that you can hear me. If you died right now in this very moment do you think dedicating your whole life to being a nun would get you in to heaven? I spoke gently, just remember what we read in Roman’s. Sister Pauline, you know that answer now the answer would be No. it was so amazing how she reacted as she laid there. She was only using facial expressions not able to speak, It was almost like she was stumped and couldn’t argue. I told her I will pray this prayer and it’s up to you to believe in your heart 🙏 and accept Jesus ask him to forgive you of your sins. No amount of communion no amount of baptism no amount of church can save you. It’s only the one who paid your sin debt that can save you and his name is Jesus Christ the only begotten son of God not the priest not the Catholic Church
if you accept what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the Cross for you, then your whole life would’ve not been in vain a waste. Then when God does call you Home you’ll be welcomed in. Also my pray can’t save, you have to make the decision on your own.
After I got through praying that prayer all of a sudden that song come over me great is thy faithfulness, and I started singing that song a cappella right there next to her bedside when I got to the end of that song, the very last three words, Lord unto me I was in amazement. This woman woke up out of whatever, she was in and was gasping for air, begging for water. That’s the power of God Almighty.
With that being said, God used Mrs. Petrick funeral pamphlet that morning. I was on my way to work unconsciously,
I know there is life after death.
Praise the Lord I’m Saved!
Proverbs 3
King James Version
3Â My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2Â For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
3Â Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4Â So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5Â Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6Â In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7Â Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
8Â It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
9Â Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10Â So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
11Â My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:
12Â For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
13Â Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
14Â For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
15Â She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
16Â Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
17Â Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
18Â She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
19Â The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
20Â By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
21Â My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
22Â So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.
23Â Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
24Â When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
25Â Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
26Â For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
27Â Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
28Â Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
29Â Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.
30Â Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.
31Â Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.
32Â For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.
33Â The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
34Â Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
35Â The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
