HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN CUSTOM GPT EMPLOYEE
1. Open a New Custom GPT
In ChatGPT, click Explore GPTs → Create. This opens the GPT Builder where you’ll build your AI employee.
2. Name Your Employee
Be specific.
✅ Good Examples:
- Ava the Social Media Manager
- Marcus the Sales Copywriter
- Olivia the AI Content Strategist
- Maya the Customer Support Assistant
❌ Weak Examples:
- Helper Bot
- AI Assistant
- Content GPT
Specific names create focused outputs.
3. Write the Job Description
Tell your GPT exactly what role it plays.
Example:
“You are an expert social media strategist for entrepreneurs and creators. Your job is to create high-converting captions, hooks, CTAs, video ideas, and content calendars designed to increase engagement, authority, and sales.”
The clearer the role, the better the results.
4. Set Personality & Tone
Describe HOW the GPT should sound.
Examples:
- Professional but relatable
- Confident and strategic
- Friendly and conversational
- High-energy and motivating
- Luxury feminine brand voice
You can also define:
- Sentence length
- Emoji usage
- Formatting style
- CTA style
- Hook style
5. Add Rules & Preferences
This is where the magic happens.
Examples:
- Always include a strong hook
- Keep captions under 150 words
- Use bullet points when possible
- Never sound robotic
- Use storytelling
- End with a CTA
- Write for beginners
- Avoid corporate jargon
This trains consistency.
6. Upload Knowledge Files
Give your GPT context.
Upload:

- Offer details

7. Test & Refine
