Ben Kern is a PGA Professional, GM, and competitive golfer known for combining elite playing experience with structured, performance-driven instruction. Ben turned professional in 2007 and has built a career spanning championship competition, teaching, and golf operations leadership.
2018, Ben qualified for and made the cut at the PGA Championship at Bellerive Country Club, finishing T-42 as the Low Club Professional and competing all four rounds. That same year, he won the Texas State Open, becoming just the second PGA Club Pro in history to capture the title.
Ben has also earned victories in the Southern Texas PGA Professional Championship and Northern Texas PGA Memorial Championship, along with Southern Texas PGA Player of the Year honors. He has represented the United States in the PGA Cup.
Ben currently serves as General Manager of a private country club, where he combines competitive insight with data-driven instruction and structured practice focused on lasting improvement.
