True story: I've been trying to become a life coach for some time now. I saw a guy in the parking lot of Panda today he was a former employee. I told him what I was up to, and I told him, "I'm trying to make it work - I don't have a lot of traction right now, but I'm trying to help people achieve their goals." (Something along those lines). He told me something that I will never forget. He said, "Boss, you've always been like that." "You helped me and my life; you helped save my life..." - I needed to hear that today.
Being a coach isn't always 'uplifting' ---some days it feels like watching paint dry. Today - one person made my day. I've always been 'this guy '; I just needed to hear it too.
