When Pausing Is Part of Progress
Over the past few days, I was reminded of something that matters deeply.
Not all pauses are setbacks.
Sometimes we have to stop long enough to see what needs to be rebuilt, refined, or realigned.
In working on my book, I realized it wasn’t about rewriting my story, it was about honoring it by presenting it clearly and cleanly.
That’s true for life as well. Growth doesn’t always mean pushing forward. Sometimes it means stepping back with honesty, correcting what’s off, and moving forward with integrity.
If you’ve been in a season where things feel slower, quieter, or unfinished, don’t assume you’re failing.
You may simply be doing the deeper work that real progress requires.
