A UK McKenzie Friend Course
We are currently designing a course for anyone who wants to become an McKenzie Friend (UK only). What is a McKenzie Friend? It is someone who offers different levels of help to someone going through family court. It can be as simple as moral support as most people find family court to be intimidating, or it can be someone who knows family law and can help produce statements, skeleton arguments, appeals etc. it can be as a volunteer or paid work. This course will teach you everything you need to know. It’ll teach you the law, but will also delve into a bit of psychology so that you can spot things like coercive control etc.
