Welcome to Beacon Institute 40-Hour LPC Supervisor Certification Training

Welcome, and congratulations on taking this next step in your professional journey.
We are honored to walk with you as you move toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas. This 40-hour supervision certification course was intentionally designed to be accessible, flexible, and rigorous, while still honoring the depth and responsibility of the supervisor role.

What to Expect from This Training
1. On-Demand & Self-Paced Learning
This course is fully on demand, allowing you to move through the material at your own pace and on your own schedule. Once you begin, you will have 90 days to complete all required components of the training.
2. Course Structure
Throughout the training, you will engage in:
- Pre-recorded video lessons (found under the CLASSROOM course tab)
- Guided learning modules that will be dripped to you every 7 days
- Take-home assignments and reflections
These assignments are a required part of the certification process and must be completed and submitted for review and grading. Successful completion of all coursework is necessary in order to receive your supervision certification. All assignments will need to be uploaded in a google drive folder that is specifically set up for you. It will be provided to you by email.
3. Consultation & Support
You are not doing this alone. As part of the training, you will have access to two live consultation sessions:
- Mid-training consultation to support integration and application
- Final consultation to review readiness and next steps
These sessions will be scheduled with you and facilitated by the presenters. You will receive notification when it is time to schedule these sessions.

How to Navigate the Course
- Begin with the first module and move sequentially through the content
- Watch all videos in full
- Complete and submit all required assignments
- Schedule your consultation sessions at the designated points in the course
