Understanding Cycles & Why Breaking Them Matters
Many of the struggles' people experience in life are not random — they are cycles.
A cycle is a repeated pattern of thinking, feeling, or behavior that continues over time, often without us realizing it. These patterns can be passed down through family environments, learned experiences, survival responses, or limiting beliefs that shape how we see ourselves and the world.
Cycles can appear in many areas of life:
• repeating unhealthy relationships• constant financial stress• fear of taking opportunities• people-pleasing or overworking• self-doubt and hesitation• emotional reactions that feel automatic
Often, these patterns began as ways to survive difficult experiences, but over time, they become habits that quietly control our decisions.
The problem is that what once protected us can later limit us.
