WHAT SURPRISED ME WHILE BUILDING
I’ve been working on a execution system for solo founders that focuses less on planning and more on constraining decisions.
One thing that’s surprised me so far:
Execution usually doesn’t fail because priorities are wrong. it fails because priorities never actually close.
Even after deciding what matters, the alternatives stay mentally open — and that keeps pulling attention away during the week.
I’m testing what happens when decisions are treated as closed by default, unless something external actually changes.
Still early, but it’s changed how the week feels more than I expected.
