Be honest. How many tabs do you have open right now?
I caught myself with 27 tabs open yesterday. Twenty-seven.
(I use groups often which helps keep things condensed but still, 27)
Why This Matters:
The average person has 10-20 tabs open at any given time. Heavy users? 50+. Some days I used to have so many tabs open that my chrome window was a wall of tiny rectangles. If you know, you know.
And it's costing us more than we think.
Research shows it takes an average of ~23 minutes to fully refocus after switching tasks. Every time you bounce between tabs, emails, Slack, and your phone, you're resetting that clock. Every single time.
No wonder some days feel busy but unproductive.
That's not multitasking at all, it's actually quite the opposite.
I closed 20 tabs this morning. Kept 7. My brain feels lighter already.

Lowest number wins bragging rights. Highest number wins our prayers. 😂
P.S Speaking of focus, I'm about to focus on all of these DM's now!
