You know I love honest feedback. And when I get it, I act on it.

Over the past ~hour several of you shared something important: that the "First Place Race" was starting to take away from the quality of conversations. Instead of adding value, people were racing to comment "1st" and "2nd" just to grab a spot. And some of you said it made you not want to engage at all. And to be honest, that's the exact opposite of what I want for this community.

So effective immediately, the First Place Race is no more.

This community has grown to nearly 700 members in 22 days and we're only getting started.

But growth means nothing if we lose what makes this place special:

real conversations, real value, real people helping each other. The fact that someone can post a question at 2am and wake up to ten people who actually care. That's rare. That's worth protecting.

The feedback that's honest because we actually want each other to win. The feeling that you're not just another member, you're part of something being built. That's what we're protecting here. 🛡️

Now, I'm a man of my word.

So for everyone who participated from when it started until today, I'll go back and tally everything. There will be rewards for the winners. You showed up and engaged, and I'm honoring that.

But moving forward, there's no need to race to the comments.

No more "1st" or "2nd." Just show up, add value, and engage like you mean it.

As fun as it was, I want this place to be known for one thing: a place where people actually grow.

Not a place where people fight to comment first.
