Awaab’s Law is now being introduced to force housing providers to act quickly on damp and mould complaints. It’s an important step forward.
But here in Basildon, the reality is that hundreds of families are already living in unsafe homes, and they can’t wait for paperwork, inspections, or long repair queues. They need help now.
